Common questions,
plain answers.
The most common questions about how All About Laws works — what we can and can't do, how deadlines and filing work, and how billing is handled. If your question isn't here, open Counsel in the corner and ask.
Getting Started
No. All About Laws provides legal information, document assistance, and guided self-help resources. It is not a law firm and does not provide attorney representation unless a separately identified licensed attorney formally accepts your matter.
No. The free Navigator intake requires no account. You only need an account to save matters, sign consent forms, or purchase à la carte services.
U.S. federal law plus all 50 states. You select your state during intake so the guidance fits your jurisdiction.
No. Everything here is legal information and guided self-help — not legal advice. For advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed attorney.
Our Services
A free 3-step intake that identifies the likely legal category, jurisdiction, urgency, documents to gather, and the official court or agency destination for your matter.
A plain-English write-up of your situation with the recommended next practical step — delivered as a downloadable report for your review.
We provide guided form completion with step-by-step help for your review. You review and file the finished form yourself with the court or agency.
An AI review of a legal document (up to 25 pages) returned as a plain-language summary with key dates, action items, and a recommended next service.
Legal Process & Deadlines
No. Deadlines are estimates based on the rules and the facts you provide. Service method, local rules, holidays, and judicial orders can change them. Always confirm the date with the court or a licensed attorney.
The Navigator identifies the likely official destination for your matter. You confirm the requirements and file with that office directly.
Mark your matter urgent during intake and we'll surface preservation steps. We are not an emergency service — for imminent danger, contact emergency services (911) or a licensed attorney immediately.
Forms & Filing
We can't guarantee acceptance. Government forms and procedures change, and courts may reject filings for procedural reasons. Confirm current requirements with the filing office before submitting.
No. Court, filing, service, sheriff, postage, record, and attorney fees are separate and paid directly to the court or agency. You only pay our platform fee here.
No. We prepare documents for your review; you file them yourself with the court or agency and pay any required fees directly to that office.
Warrant Search & Records
On a best-effort basis using an authorization and consent form you sign. We then inquire with the relevant court or law-enforcement agency on your behalf.
No. Public records may be incomplete, delayed, sealed, or inaccurate, and only the issuing court or agency can definitively confirm whether a warrant exists or remains active. We do not claim access to a complete national warrant database.
No. If you face imminent danger, contact emergency services (911) immediately. Warrant search assistance is not a substitute for law enforcement.
Billing & Access
Free 1-day access lets you explore the platform. Weekly and monthly single-state plans cover one state plus federal reference. The all-access plan covers all 50 states plus federal — ideal for professionals and multi-state needs.
Yes. You can buy single services — reports, forms, letters, document analysis, court packets — without a membership. Membership unlocks broader ongoing research access.
For any billing question, contact our support team through the Counsel chat in the corner or email charlesbellcg@gmail.com. We're happy to clarify charges or plan details.
